For middle/high school. Can be used as a 1/2 for American or Kentucky history. Explores American and Catholic history by focusing on the story of Catholics and the Catholic church in Kentucky. This coming year will be a continuation of the work we began last year; we will be looking at the history of the church post-1865, with a focus on Appalachian Kentucky, both its history as Appalachia and the history of the Catholic church within that larger development.
